First month!!!

It has officially been a month since I have been living in Barcelona. Let me just say one thing. The time is going by super fast. I still have 3 more months to go! This first month has been the hardest. The feeling that you are alone was sometimes hard. And there have been good times and what bad times. But I’m learning. 

On Monday was our free day because there was a art festival. So on Monday night there was this big firework show. On Tuesday afternoon it was time to start the week at the internship. The whole week everything went good and on Friday I got my first evaluation. 

The boss and the workers where super happy with me. They thought I was a positive influence to the children. And that i show I want to learn not only the language but the cultural side of things. The kids are also finally getting used to me and are always super happy to see me! The only problem on both side is communication but we will be trying on both sides to try to find a moment during the week where we can discuss things with some one who can try to translate stuff for us. We are also apart of the Halloween group. So we will be doing activities with the kids and we will be dressing op. 

During the weekend. 

On Saturday we went to the beach in Castelldefels. It’s a much better beach then the one in Barcelona. Later that night we wanted to go drink cocktail in a cocktail bar but it was very busy so we decided to go to Barceloneta because there where different attraction we could go on. On Sunday we did literally nothing the whole day. I watched some Netflix en worked on school. Later that evening we went to the bunkers in Barcelona. We watched the sun go down and enjoyed the view. 

Plus on the good side my aunt and my dad are coming in 10 days to visit. So I’m really excited about that.

Also want to let everyone know that we stayed out of Barcelona city when the rallies broke out. We are safe and we don’t hear or see anything about the democratic things going on in Barcelona.
